Story time

So I decided to write a blog, no real reason, just somewhere to spill the beans, rant and rave, or just post things I find interesting.

Yesterday I joined a new site, Storywar, I posted my first story today, and I was very pleased to get my first rating of 8 out of 10. This pleased me greatly. I've only been rated once, so this doesn't mean much but at the same time it means a lot. I hope one day to actually be a publised writer, and I don't feel that clicking on the publish button at the bottom of this page is going to have quite the same feel to it, if you get what I mean. I'm writing a collection of short stories, but so far I've only done 4 and they need more than a little work. But at least I've started, I guess thats better than nothing. I think if I expand on this one, it could quickly become another one for the pile.
